WW2 Australian Commando

Just painted the first of the new Warlord Games WW2 Australian Commandos. Here he is. I got these last week. There are ten minis in the pack and I am looking forward to painting them.

1836 MEXICAN ARTILLERY

 

Viva Santa Anna! Just finished these Mexican artillery guns for the 1836 Texas campaign, also any other service El Presidente deems it necessary for them to undertake. The guns are old ones I had in the spares box, the gunners are from Orinoco Miniatures.

Here is my latest ACW project - The Missouri State Guard with Sterling Price leading them. Price is a conversion from the Front Rank mounted Napoleonic era Gentleman. The men are a mixture of 1st Corps, Empress, Eureka and Cannon Fodder minis.

Buffalo Hunt

I found ten of these Bison at a flea market last week and could not resist painting them. They are just the right size for my 40mm Indians.

I have finished the 35mm British Brigade. Here it is. I now have a Prussian and a British Brigade, what I need to make next is an Austrian/Imperial Brigade. I already have a Walloon regiment, just got to do two more Imperial regiments. Then I can start on the French and Bavarian Brigades.

Here are the latest of my homemade 35mm minis. A stern officer, a mounted officer pointing at something very interesting and an Austrian style Grenadier.

Here are two 35mm early C18th master figures which I have just finished. One is a cavalry officer to join the cavalrymen I have already made, the other is a General or Marshal. I decided to make the General a prosperous portly well to do gentleman. These have not been put into a mould yet, but that will happen soon. 

Early C18th 35mm Cavalry

Here are two of my homemade 35mm early C18th Cavalry minis. A friend wanted a cavalry regiment of his own and gave me the colors and the flag for his regiment, so I painted these two minis as the first two of his regiment. I still have to make and cavalry officer and a trumpeter but these two will give you an idea what the finished group (18 figures) will look like.
