54mm Vietnam War Aussies

Here are the finished versions of some of the 54mm Vietnam War Australians that I have painted up for skirmish games and to display. The figures are nice solid one piece castings designed by Mike Broadbent and have painted up very well. I have eight of these in total - a typically understrength infantry Section at the time - but need to base the last five. I will post pics of all of them when they are based. If anyone knows of a reasonably priced 1.32 scale M113 out there please let me know.

  1. Nice work. I like the action shot with the ejecting brass.

    Who carries these figures ?

  2. These figures are a private venture by Mike Broadbent a figure designer and sculpture I know. He does not normally sell to the public - working on commissions for other people is how he makes his money. He has these Aussies, some US infantry and Viet Cong/NVA in 54mm. All are very nicely done one piece castings, perfectly suitable for skirmish gaming not to mention also very nice to look at when on display. I will contact him and see if he is able to offer these figures for sale.

  3. Thanks, Tiger Zouave. No worries if he's not, I was just curious as I hadn't seen them outside your blog. I'm a Vietnam vet, still tend to avoid it as a personal painting project (and don't game it) but you've done really nice work with the figures.
