MEDIEVAL SWISS ARMY
Here is my Swiss army. This has been a LONG time in the making. I first made the master figures and the drop cast moulds for the army back in 1983. I cast a lot of figures, painted some and put the rest in a bag where they remained for many years. In the last year or so I have returned to my Swiss and painted all the figures I cast. I have added some Perry heads for variation and used some Foundry minis for standard bearers and a mounted leader. I have also used figures from other manufacturers for the crossbows and handguns. I have four cannons to go with this army. Two of these are painted and two more are almost done. Now why paint the pikes red? In the Funken book on Medieval armies they have the Swiss pikes as red and I thought they looked good, so mine are red.

WW2 AUSTRALIAN COMMANDOS 2
I have finished painting the Australian Commandos. Here they are. Nice
figures but I really don't know how they can ever be used in wargame if
they play their commando role. Their basic tactic, as one of them put it,
was 'Punch and Piss off' which does not make a very interesting game.
And yes Owen guns often came out of the factory painted in camouflage
colors. I did a minor bit of conversion on the figure with the rifle
turning it into an EY grenade firing rifle as by 1945 this was the only
type of rifle they tended to use apart from sniper rifles.

BIG INDIAN GUNS
I have had the Elephant for 20+ years - he is finally painted. The big guns are more recent. These guns will see service with my Sikh army for the present and in the future serve with the Mahratta and Mughal armies.
Elephant is Foundry and the guns and crews are Indus Miniatures.

35mm C18th Master Figures
Here are two 35mm early C18th master figures which I have just finished. One is a cavalry officer to join the cavalrymen I have already made, the other is a General or Marshal. I decided to make the General a prosperous portly well to do gentleman. These have not been put into a mould yet, but that will happen soon.

Early C18th 35mm Cavalry
Here are two of my homemade 35mm early C18th Cavalry minis. A friend wanted a cavalry regiment of his own and gave me the colors and the flag for his regiment, so I painted these two minis as the first two of his regiment. I still have to make and cavalry officer and a trumpeter but these two will give you an idea what the finished group (18 figures) will look like.
