28mm Napoleonic Austrian Artillery

Foundry Austrian Artillery battery for your viewing.
This was a fun project to paint and came out as well as I could have hoped.
The bases are custom made by Litko which have cut away sections so I could put individually based gunners into the slots. They are magnetised and quite stable for normal handling. Again, these worked out well and I think this is how I'll do the artillery from now on.
Anyhoo - hope you enjoy the photos.
Cheers,
Mick

  1. Fantastic paintjob, I know brown a bit of a boring colour. but I do like a brown Napoleonic uniform, it's so different from the normal bright and colourful uniforms of the period.

  5. Thanks lads, your comments are appreciated. I quite like painting browns and think they have their own appeal on Napoleonic uniforms. It's taken a while, but I've finally worked out how to paint guns so I *almost* enjoy painting them now...
Matt - Not playing GdB but working on a set that have some elements of GdB.
